This Thursday marks the opening and first major New York exhibition for Japanese artist Yoshitomo Nara at the Asia Society Museum. We've been excited about this for a while now and highly suggest if you are in the city to swing over and see it. Juxtapoz recently did a nice write-up on the artists career here with wide variety of works displayed.
If you cannot make it to the retrospective or are averse to museums, stroll up Park Ave on the Upper East Side and check out the two 12 foot sculptures the artist has installed as gifts to NYC.
