We are also thrilled to welcome artist Brian Adam Douglas to the site!
Brian is a New York based multidisciplinary artist, originally gaining widespread notoriety under the moniker "Elbow-Toe," whose practice ranges from monumental woodcuts and stencils to large scale drawings and collage. His first print "The Dust Blows Forward, And The Dust Blows Back" features a detailed image of two men carrying a fossilized whale skeleton through a sprawling desert. This linocut is entirely carved by Xacto blade, printed, then hand painted using watercolors, each print taking three full days just to paint. Brian demonstrates his ability to create visually stunning narratives through his use of skillfull and detailed linework. Tons of hidden gems in this contemplative desert landscape.
